Great to find out there’s a shop like this near me. I did a 40k service for my 2016 Porsche Macan turbo at a fraction of the price of what the dealer charges. It was nice to have owner Richard to greet me personally and work on my car. I found my new home shop!

Performance Autowerk is my "go to" shop for anything related to my 1996 BMW Z3. They do an excellent job of fixing what needs to be fixed. More importantly, they always identify potential problems and advise me to watch out for specific signs/symptoms that would indicate that those things need fixing. I've been to other auto shops where they point out problems then describe nightmare scenarios of what might happen without giving me any sense of how likely those things are to happen. At Performance Autowerk, there is no high pressure or scare tactic sales pitch to have everything fixed immediately. They give very frank and sound advice without compromising safety or making you feel dumb for not fixing minor things. They're conveniently located next to the West Dublin BART station and have weekday hours that make it easy to drop off my car for service and pick it up after work. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

Rich is a great guy and knows what he is talking about. Extremely knowledgeable and very friendly, great mechanic for German cars.

I had this shop do a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) on a porsche I was considering. Thank God I did. They did a great job on the inspection. They e-mailed me pictures and spent considerable time talking with me about the car in question. I unfortunately had to pass on the car. But, I found a honest shop with technicians that know their stuff. I live on the peninsula but will drive 45 min to them for service. Yes , they are that good. Use them and don't look back.
